Beyond the screenings, THODAR 2026 created space for meaningful dialogue through post-screening discussions with filmmakers and invited industry experts, including the Experts’ Dialogue Session featuring Ms Jaya Rathakrishnan, Ms Anuratha Kanderaju, Ms Manjula Balakrishnan, and Mr Saleem Hadi, who shared their industry knowledge, professional experiences, and insights into the evolving media and production landscape to provide valuable guidance and a deeper understanding of both the creative and strategic aspects of the industry to aspiring filmmakers.

The event also featured a special session, Behind the Frames with Kevin William, where Kevin William, an independent filmmaker and founder of Filmoholic Pictures PTE. LTD., shared his journey as a self-made storyteller; a success made possible by the time and dedication of the committee led by Ms Brinda in nurturing youth talent and creating accessible platforms for creative expression, setting the tone for future STYC initiatives that empower young voices, celebrate local stories, and strengthen the artistic community.

The inclusion of specialized sessions like "Behind the Frames" and the "Experts’ Dialogue" offered aspiring creators a rare masterclass in navigating the strategic complexities of the global production landscape.
