Annual Conference Seminar 2026
The annual Conference Seminar organised by the Singapore Tamil Youths’ Club was held on 28 March 2026 at Umar Pulavar Tamil Language Centre, from 9.00am to 5.00pm. The event drew an encouraging turnout of approximately 150 guests, including youths, educators, community leaders, and members of the public, all brought together by a shared interest in learning and community engagement. The Guest of Honour was Dr Haresh Singaraju (Nominated Member of Parliament), whose presence underscored the significance of the occasion.


The seminar featured 9 panels of 35 speakers, covering a variety of themes and issues pertinent to the community. 18 adult and 17 youth presenters spoke, reflecting a balanced and inclusive platform that encouraged intergenerational dialogue. They shared insights on a diverse range of Tamil books and the panel discussions provided valuable opportunities for deeper engagement, allowing participants to exchange ideas, reflect on shared experiences, and explore pathways for personal and community development. The event also created a welcoming environment for networking, enabling attendees to build meaningful connections and collaborations.


The seminar received media coverage from Tamil Murasu, Seithi, and SG Indian, further amplifying its reach and impact. Overall, the conference seminar served as a vibrant and enriching platform that celebrated knowledge-sharing, leadership, and active community participation, reinforcing the importance of continuous learning and collective growth within the Tamil community in Singapore.
